Was supposed to be an 8-9 mile walk over the Cleveland way via Hambleton Hills on the North York Moors. Once we reached the summit of Black Hambleton, we realised it wasn’t going to be possible to continue, as the snow was thigh deep in some parts. By now our feet were soaking wet as snow had gotten into our boots. So we took a rather steep detour down off the hill and started to speed up again, after taking 45 mins to do 0.5 mile!!!!

Just a few pics of a lovely cold morning walk.

Popped to the plot today to takeaway the junk. Basically we have had loads of carpets kicking about since we got the plot, so today was “take it all to the tip day”. Typically it hailstoned/snowed/sleet/rain and Sun!! I was soaked and covered from head to toe in mud mud mud.

Finally got the Coopers – Dark Ale bottled today. 36 lovely bottles all filled, primed and waiting to be ready to drink.
